Honoring the Best: Shen Yiqin Encourages Young Female Scientists in Beijing

On April 28, 2024, an award ceremony for young female scientists in Beijing was attended by Shen Yiqin, Chinese State Councilor and president of the All-China Women’s Federation. The ceremony recognized 20 individuals and five teams with an award dedicated to young female scientists. Since its inception in 2004, the award has honored a total of 204 outstanding women in the science field.

Shen encouraged female scientists to remain committed to their research and strive for greater heights in scientific discovery. She emphasized the importance of these talented young minds in China’s quest for self-reliance and strength in science and technology, as well as the development of new quality productive forces and the promotion of high-quality development.

Shen Yiqin praised the dedication of these young female scientists and encouraged them to continue pushing the boundaries of scientific research. She highlighted the vital role that these talented individuals play in China’s efforts to enhance its self-reliance and strength in science and technology, develop new quality productive forces, and promote high-quality development.
