John Deere Boosts Production Capacity in Argentina with $15 Million Investment at Las Rosas Plant

A multinational corporation to increase plant capacity by 50%

John Deere recently announced plans to significantly upgrade its plant in Las Rosas, Santa Fe, with an investment of $15 million. This upgrade will increase the production capacity of sprayers and seeders by 50%, following a commitment to a larger ambitious program that the company has been implementing in Argentina for over a decade, totaling more than $265 million.

The investment at the Las Rosas plant includes new buildings, painting and assembly line improvements, as well as enhancements to processes, systems, and logistics. Sergio Fernandez, president of Industries John Deere Argentina, emphasized the importance of this investment as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support production and development in the country.

John Deere has been manufacturing in Argentina for more than 65 years and is committed to embracing technology and optimizing processes in the agricultural sector. The company produces all the main equipment necessary for the agricultural production cycle in Argentina, with over 3,200 direct employees, a network of exclusive dealers and numerous national suppliers. Additionally, John Deere is also the main exporting company and employer in the sector.
